It’s me, Kathy.

I know you were told my break from you would only be over the summer (so that I could spend all my time with the boys), but the freedom has been VERY nice!!!  Almost too nice…  In fact, I have even thought of shutting you down.  Watching Nate turn 4 this summer made me think about how fast he is growing up and with Preston in the picture…well it is going CRAZY fast!!!

Then ~ A Epiphany ~ I wanted to know when Nate started sitting up by himself (since Preston started last week).  Wouldn’t you know it…I don’t have any info written down!!! {I know…BAD mama}   

So here I am again, when I should be sleeping (will I EVER learn?) 

A lot has happened since the last post.  {I’m not even going to mention the date…but Nate’s birthday was in JULY!!!}

YIKES!!!

I promise I will come back more often and update.

But for now I leave you with some pictures of my favorite activity with the boys…

Family Vacation 2009 ~ Destination…

Galveston

31 – The day in May that Tony and I decided we needed a Vacation

5 – The seconds that it took us to come to the conclusion --- so did the rest of the family

10 – The number of sites I visited before we found the “PERFECT” place {www.castawaygroups.com} They were A.M.A.Z.I.N.G!!!!

 

7 – How many days we would be staying in the beach house

15-21 – The days in June we would be staying

1 – How many cars were SO loaded down that we actually contemplated getting a car topper {couldn’t do it…I’m already driving a minivan…seriously} + the amount of times you get to see the look on your child’s face the FIRST time they see the ocean!

18 – The number of loved ones that came to play {at some point}

   

  

6 – The amount of hours it took to get there {both boys were WONDERFUL!!!!}

84 – The number of questions we were asked by a small voice coming from the back seat

25 – How many times that same voice asked  ~ Are we THERE yet? {yes I tallied & NO the above number DOES NOT count the “Are we there yet’s”}

2 – How many weeks it took to shop and pack for the trip 

2 - How many hours it took to unload it all into the beach house

14 – How many times we had to play frogger cross the street to go to the store

20+ – The number of times we said “I am SOOOO glad we rented the golf cart!”

       

2 – The number of canopies that we bought with us that were a pile of $@!*& didn’t work

100 – The amount that was paid to rent the canopy we “almost” got

                 

                 

8 – The number of hours spent ON the beach each day
