Scariest day of my life!!!

As many of you know our family suffered another loss. We found out from the doctor on June21st that for the second time in a row, our baby had no heart beat. This was very hard for Tony and I to hear. After my body having a hard time recovering from the last miscarriage we decided to forgo the D&C and try to let my body do what it need to. This was hard, kind of like waiting for DOOMS day.

We jump to Monday. Nate and I were home and what I thought was everything being completed happened. I put Nate to bed and Tony got home. At about 11:30 I got Tony to start me a bath (I just couldn't stop it), by the time I got into the shower I couldn't breath and ended up getting sick. This caused Tony to call 911. I was hemorrhaging! They took me to Dallas Pres by and I was in the emergency room until 4 am where they admitted me into a room.

My poor sister was with Tony and I until 5:45, then had to go home to her wide awake girls :) She really helped us and I really can't thank her enough. I LOVE you Dawn!!!

After drawing blood from me 3 times they decided that I could not wait any longer, my levels had dropped. They had to get me into surgery. So at 8:45 I was taken down stairs where I had the D&C.

We have cried and morned and now await the next two weeks where we can then get our testing done to see why this keeps happening. We know it is God's Plan and we give it to him.

I want to thank Tony for keeping me calm, calling 911 and making sure I was O.K, for being the best husband and father that I could ever ask for, Tony put everything into action and stood by me through everything and has taken care of Nate's every thought for the last 2 days. Thank You baby doll for EVERYTHING!!!!

I want to thank Carol (my mother in law) for getting to our house to let Nate sleep so Tony could come and join me, and to Tim (my father in law) for meeting me at the ER...You both will never know how much that meant to us!

I want to thank Dawn again for also keeping me in high spirits during it all. You held my hand and made me laugh! Thank You!

I want to thank my parents for talking to me on the phone and telling me they were praying for me and that everything would be o.k...Sometimes that is ALL you need to hear :)

Lastly I want to thank Nate for understanding that Mama was not feeling well on the 4th and giving me ALL the kisses and hugs I could ask for:)

I have always lived by the saying Live Laugh and Love. I have to remind myself that to get the Love and Laughter you have to Live. Life isn't always the road of gold, but if you laugh and love you will survive what comes at you! We will get through this and enjoy our family as we have it. When God's plan is seen we will grow :)

OH my goodness. I am SO sad to hear about this. I wish I would have known so I could have come to see you in the hospital. I am SO glad you are okay. I am praying for you Kathy and thinking about you often. You have a great attitude about everything. If God brings you to it, He will bring you through it. I love you! Call me if you need anything.

I am so sorry for your loss and will keep you and your family in my prayers. It's so hard to know what to say in situations like this except just what you said; "It was God's plan". I admire you for being so positive and willing to start the healing process so quickly ~ you are so strong and I hope for many happy times ahead! :)
